Passed away peacefully at the John M. Parrott Centre in Napanee with loving family by her side on Thursday, January 2, 2025, in her 85th year. Beloved wife of Delmar Sweet for 47 years. Caring mother of Tony Beattie (Wendy), Archie Beattie (Sue), Cathy Loucks (Bill) and Annette Dundon, step-mother of Dale Sweet and Cathy Musch (Greg). Predeceased by her sons Edward (Donna) and Stephen (Malou). Lovingly remembered by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear sister of Larry Hartin (late Marion), Wayman Hartin, and the late Linda Vincent (Robert).
The family would like to thank the staff at John M. Parrott Centre for the compassionate care they provided to Shirley. For those desiring, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. As per Shirley’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment will be held at Camden V Cemetery at a later date.
