Passed away peacefully at the Lennox & Addington County General Hospital with his family by his side on Sunday, August 20, 2023, William Joseph Albert Smith of Bath, in his 99th year. Beloved husband of the late Carmel (Harpell) in 1964 and the late Madeline (McCoy) in 2001. Loving father of Chris (Rosemary), Joanne Roberts (Robin), Joe (Karen) and Paul. Predeceased by his daughters Judy Withrow, Jane Fuller and Janet O’Neil. Devoted grandfather of Jacqueline, Paula, Virginia, Curtis, Sarah, Christy, Rebecca, Matthew, Heidi, Elysha, Lucas, Nathan and Kyle, and loving great grandfather of Brandon, Brodie, Jodie, Jorja, Amelia, Anna, Jessica Dalton, Ryan, Carter, Hadley, Peyton, Rhya, Dawson, Kayla, Leah, Everett, Jack, Ben, Chase, Kane, Cole, Mara, Phoenix, Keagan, Mya, Ty, Carly. Proud great-great grandfather of Henry. Fondly remembered by many extended family members, and friends.

 

The family will receive friends at the Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa, Ontario K0H 2H0 (613-386-7373) on Thursday, August 24th, from 12 - 2 pm. A Graveside Service will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Kingston.
