Rick passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at the age of 70. Loving companion and best friend of Joyce Klazer (née Truscott). Cherished father of Jay Peters and Ashley Klazer. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Ashdon, Melody and Cashus, and sisters Linda Paquin (Gary) and Debbie Kehoe (Mark). Predeceased by his brother Paul Peters. Brother-in-law of Shirley Shetler (Harold), June Shetler (Clarence), Dorothy Weaver (Ron), Norman Truscott (Donna), Ralph Truscott (Ramona), Suzann Morris (John), Garry Truscott (Linda) and the late Larry Truscott (Lucy). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and their families, extended family members, and friends.
Rick was an avid hunter and a long time truck driver. He enjoyed working on cars and attending car shows with his family. He will be greatly missed. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Rick’s Life will be held at a later date. For those desiring, memorial donations to the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters would be appreciated by the family.
