Passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 with her loving family at her side at the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital, in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Elton Babcook. Loving mother of Wendy Farrar, Lawrence Babcook (Kelly) and Janice Babcook (Mark Ritchie) and sadly missed by her grandchildren Amey, Christina (Thomas), Christopher (Jonna), Britni (Matt) and Tyler (Melissa). G.G. is also sadly missed by Hannah, Michaela, Aidan, Talia, Mason, Kyley, Odin, Alex and Brody. Predeceased by her parents Lula and Arthur Brooks, her sisters Frances, Phyllis, Marjorie and Marion, and brothers Clifford, Orvil, Glen, Carson, Donald, Ronald and Carl. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and their families.

 

The family will receive friends at Payne Funeral Home in Odessa on Monday, December 18, 2023 from 5–7 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 11 am. Interment Piccadilly Cemetery.
