It is with deep sadness that the Simpson family announce the sudden passing of Laurie at his home on Sunday, December 25, 2022, in his 64th year. Cherished and beloved husband of Sharon (nee Forbes) and loving father of Rachael and Maggie. Caring son of Clark (Ruth) and the late Royette Simpson and dear brother of Janice, Lu-Ann and Susan Simpson. Son-in-law of Nan and the late Theodore Forbes and brother-in-law of John Forbes, James Forbes and Sandra Young (Vern). Lovingly remembered by his nephews Graham, Daniel, James and David, his extended family, and many close friends.

 

The Simpson family would like to thank the community for all their support during this difficult time and will receive friends at Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa, Ontario K0H 2H0 (613-386-7373) on Monday, January 2, 2023 from 3-7pm. Funeral Service will be held at Westdale Park Free Methodist Church, 7 Richmond Park Dr., Napanee on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 1pm., with visitation at the church one-hour prior. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Napanee.
