Passed away peacefully at the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, in his 64th year. Son of the late Thomas and May Mercer. Survived by his brothers Tom, Robert, Melvyn and Brian, and sisters Sharon and Lynda. Predeceased by his brothers David, Peter, Paul and Daniel, and sisters Marie and Karen. Lovingly remembered by Kathryn Jaynes (late Reg) and family, Christy, Andy, Riley and Alisha Haaksman, many nieces and nephews and their families, and many close friends.

The family will receive friends at Riverside United Church in Yarker on Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 9:30 – 11 am. A Memorial Service will follow at 11 am. Interment Moscow Cemetery. For those desiring, memorial donations to the L&A Hospital Foundation or the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
