Passed away peacefully at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Thursday, September 7, 2023 following a lengthy illness. Loving companion and best friend of Nancy Walker. Dear father of Melinda Wilson (James Dubeau) and proud grandfather of Joseph Gillespie, Christian Gillespie and Alexis Thertell. Also missed by Nancy’s children - Andrew, Christina, Mary, and their families. Lovingly remembered by his brothers Murray (Pam) and Ernie, his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, many nieces and nephews and many good friends. Predeceased by his parents Richard and Jeannette (nee Simpson). 

 

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. For those desiring, memorial donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa, Ontario K0H 2H0 (613-386-7373).
