Allen Ray Gilmour

June 16, 1975 - December 25, 2022

 

Allen died unexpectedly at home from an undiagnosed health condition in the early hours of Christmas morning. He is survived by children Emma, 19, William, 6, and Athena, 4; sister Melissa, brother Matthew (Sarah), parents David Gilmour and Susan Hannah (Bob), nephews Owen and Carter, nieces Dahlia, Abby and Clare, and many aunts, uncles and cousins from Nova Scotia to British Columbia. He will be especially missed by best friends Cassandra Wiley, Todd Geran and Joe Robidoux.

 

As a son, a brother, a cousin, a father, an uncle, and a friend; Al was loved by all. He was proud of his kids and tried to do right by them. He did everything with passion and took great pride in his work. Al was a devoted Toronto Maple Leafs fan and an avid hunter and fisherman -- following a proud Gilmour tradition from his dad and Grandpa Ira (Gilly). He will be sorely missed.
