Art passed away peacefully at the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 with loving family at his side. Beloved husband of the late Doreen Gilmour (née Lee). Deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his sons Cameron (Vicki) and Wayne (Karina), grandchildren Holly (Kevin) and Andrew (Shawna), and great granddaughter Emily. Survived by his sister Kay Davidson and brother Ken Gilmour. Predeceased by his brothers Russell and Gord, and sisters May Harris and Gweneth McGowan. Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews and their families.
The family will receive friends at Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 from 2-4 pm. A Graveside Service will be held at Sydenham Cemetery on Thursday at 10:30 am. For those desiring, memorial donations to the Odessa Agricultural Society (OAS) will be remembered with appreciation by the family.
