After a weekend of dancing and visiting with family and friends, Murray passed away at home peacefully in his sleep on Monday, March 27, 2023, in his 81st year. Predeceased in 2007 by his beloved wife Gladys (nee McClelland). Dear father of Allan (Donna), Duncan, Sandra Sears (Ronald) and Rhonda Fergus (Perry). Sadly missed by his 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Survived by his brother Wayne (Joan) and sister Carol Campbell (Glen). Predeceased by his brothers Laverne, Ronald and Bernard. Fondly remembered by his many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews and their families.

 

A Graveside Service will be held at the Verona Cemetery on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 2 pm. For those desiring, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa, Ontario K0H 2H0 (613-386-7373).

Murray was a good friend to me, from the day he introduced himself to myself and Anne at the open mic in Sunbury. We all enjoyed his company at the music and dances and his drop ins. And of course his telephone calls, Murray and I had a long chat on Friday before he died. I alway enjoyed dancing visiting and chatting with him and his very good friends Mazel and Kim. He will be missed by many. REST IN PEACE MY DEAR FRIEND.My condolences to his family

My condolences go out to the Sagriff family. Murray was a good fun loving man. I met Murray through my friends Sandra,Rhonda and Terri-lynn at his great granddaughter Scottlynn's birthday party's throughout the years. Also played bingo a couple times with him. He will be missed. Hugs and prayers to all of the family.
