Passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at the Helen Henderson Care Centre, at the age of 74. Beloved husband and best friend of Shirley (née Rutter). Cherished father of Gordon and Cory (Kerri), and dear grandfather of Hayden, Jacob, Sarah and Cooper. Fondly remembered by his brothers and sisters and by many nieces and nephews.

 

Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at Payne Funeral Home in Odessa on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 from 5-7 pm. A private family Graveside will be held at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens a later date.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kingston Civitan Club or the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 623 would be appreciated.

Many adventures, many fun times, many memories over many years. We will carry these times in our minds and hearts. It was a pleasure to have Mike as an excellent friend, that would give a hand whenever needed, who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He was one of a kind, which made him so special. Sorry for everyone's loss that had the pleasure and was fortunate enough to known Mike. The Burley Family.
