Passed away peacefully at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Sunday, November 20, 2022, at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Lorraine (nee Hannah) for 62 years. Proud and loving father of Paul Grant (Rhonda) of Inverary, Wendy Grant-Hembree (Robert) of San Angelo, TX., Terry Grant (Trish) of Hartington and Kathryn Grant of Kingston. Deeply missed by his 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Survived by his sister Faye DeWolfe (Sterling). Predeceased by his brother Laverne Grant (Betty) and sister Joyce Fleming (late Don). Fondly remembered by the Hannah family, many nieces and nephews and their families.

The family will receive friends at Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa, Ontario K0H 2H0 (613-386-7373) on Wednesday, November 23rd from 6-8 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Thursday, November 24th at 1 pm. Interment to follow at Wilton Cemetery.

Lorraine and family, Faye and Sterling Just recently heard of Mervin's illness during a visit with Faye and Sterling. Then the shock of his passing within hours. I remember many chats and meeting at the church. I have fond memories, family connections, especially with Merv's dad and siblings. May the peace that passes all understanding be with all of you at this sad time. Merv's pain is now gone and God wil remind you of your 62 years of good memories.
