It is with tremendous sadness that the family of Meghan Frances Anne Bannister announce her passing at the Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, BC., on Saturday December 24, 2022, at the age of 36. Meghan leaves behind her companion and best friend Summer, her cherished pup.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her mother Catherine Leclair Belanger (Gaston), her father Gerald Bannister (Jolene), her sister Alexandrea (Anthony), her nephew Karter, her aunts Theresa and Colleen, her uncle Claude and several extended family members and friends. Reunited with her late brothers Eric and Ryan Bannister, her late grandparents Anne and John Leclair and several other family members.

A Celebration of Meghan’s Life will be held at Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa, Ontario K0H 2H0 (613-386-7373) on Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 11-1 pm. Words of Remembrance will commence at noon. For those desiring, memorial donations to the BC SPCA in Surrey, B.C., or an animal rescue of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Meghan, you where such a light. A completely genuine, kind soul. You had such a positive energy and I loved being around you. I loved chatting with you. I could talk to you about anything and not feel judged. I will miss your sense of humour, your smile, and your friendship very deeply.
