Obituary of Gerrit Kenneth Martini

Please share a memory of Gerrit to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

With heavy hearts the family of Gerrit announce his passing after a brief battle with cancer. He will be deeply missed by his children, Christina and Matthew (Lindsey) and their mother Mai Martini. Proud Papa of Hannah, Adam, Sylis, Quinn, Hudson and Ellie. He leaves behind his brother Kevin (Lynn) and many nieces and nephews as well as extended family. Predeceased by his parents Adrian and Marion. Gerrit leaves a huge hole in the hearts of many, especially his friend and partner in crime Derrick McBride.

Special thanks goes out to nurse Katelyn at Brockville General ICU and Dr. Sophia Genta at the KGH Cancer Centre for their kindness and compassion. Memorial donations to the UHKF (University Hospitals Kingston Foundation) would be appreciated by the family.

There will be a private family Graveside Service at Cataraqui Cemetery, with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Payne Funeral Home in Odessa.

Please share your memories and condolences to the family.
