After a brief illness, Gene passed away peacefully at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at age 71. He is extremely missed by his daughter Kara Lockhart (Jason), son Jaret Hogan and cherished sister Linda Simpkins (Victor). Proud grandfather of Casey, Harley, Sam and Taylor. Predeceased by his parents and survived by his brothers and sisters.

 

Cremation has taken place. The family will gather privately at a later date. For those desiring, memorial donations to the Kingston Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
