Obituary of Edgar Walker Smith
Ed passed away peacefully at the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, in his 93rd year. Predeceased by his beloved wives Priscilla (née Schriver) and Frances (née Wing), and dear daughter Diane Smith. Loving husband of Edith Sharpe-Smith and caring father of Lynda Deyo (Brydon), Carol Smith-Weston, Harold Smith (Erica), Lorie Quait (Rick), Richard Smith and Stephen Smith (Donna). Deeply missed by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survived by his brother Ivan Smith. Predeceased by his sisters Dorothy and Annie, brothers Ralph, Cecil and Clair.
The family will receive friends at the Payne Funeral Home in Odessa on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 from 12:30-1:30 pm. Funeral Service will follow at 1:30 pm. Interment Glenhaven Memorial Gardens. For those desiring, memorial donations to the Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
