Obituary of Jarvis Osborne
It is with tremendous sadness that the family of Jarvis William Joseph Osborne announce his passing at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at the age of 45.
Jarvis will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend, Nancy (née Hutchinson), and their sons, Drew and Cole. Beloved son of Dianne and Don Osborne, and dear brother of Justin (Tera) and Jacob (Irena). Jarvis was a proud and caring uncle to Isaac, Jack, and Mia.
Jarvis will also be forever missed by his mother-in-law and father-law Sheila and Gary Hutchinson, his brother-in-law Darrin (Tammy) and nephew Conlan, all of Nova Scotia. He is fondly remembered by his extended family members, neighbours and friends.
Jarvis grew up on the family farm near Morven, where his deep love for cattle and farming was born and remained with him throughout his life. While farming, he was also a hardworking and skilled electrician, and formed many lasting friendships through his trade. Jarvis truly loved his job as an electrician.
Jarvis was an extremely proud father and a loving husband. He spent countless hours fishing, hunting and camping with Nancy and the boys. Jarvis was the boy’s number one fan. He seldom missed his chance to watch a hockey game, a ball game or a soccer game.
Jarvis was a true friend to many. He was always willing to drop all and lend his hand to help. There really wasn’t anything he wouldn’t try to fix. He may even show up on Christmas Eve dressed as Santa, delivering treats.
Jarvis’ kindness, dedication, ability to tell a good story, hardworking nature and his capability to ‘fix all,’ touched everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Cremation has taken place. Please join us to celebrate his life, Saturday, August 9 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., at The Best & Bash Arena, Napanee. Brief words of remembrance will take place at 2:30 pm.
