Peacefully at the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at age 87. Predeceased by his beloved wife Carol (Cowdy). Dear partner of Louise Stevenson. Cherished father of Stephen Chapman and Ken Chapman (Angela) and deeply missed by his grandchildren Mark, Justin (Jenn) and Ryan and great granddaughter Nevaeh. Loving brother of Ted Chapman (Marguerite), Barbara Turcotte, Eileen Thomson and Mary Jane Wills (Evan). Remembered by many nieces and nephews and their families.

 

Cremation has taken place. A private Family Graveside Service will be held at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens. For those desiring, memorial donations to the L&A Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa, Ontario K0H 2H0 (613-386-7373).

Very sorry to hear of Fred's passing. I have known Fred for most of my life starting with him playing ball with my dad (Ken Reid) in Collins Bay many years ago.
