Please share a memory of Ernest to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Ernie passed away peacefully at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre following a lengthy illness on Saturday, November 15, 2025, in his 92nd year. Predeceased by his loving wife Mary (MacKinnon), his father Ernest W. Crispe, his mother Georgina Crispe (Brown) and son Brian Crispe. Cherished father of Ernie (Brenda), Gerry, and Maggie (Margie). Loving grandfather of Andrea and Melissa (Tyler) and great grandfather of Noah, Carter and Mya. Survived by his brother Jim (Karen) and predeceased by his brother Carman and sisters Helen and Shirley. Fondly remembered by many extended family members and friends.

Ernie served in the Canadian Air Force for 25 years. Ernie’s career took him and his family across Canada from Gander NL., to Prince George, BC., and many Provinces in between. He also served in Germany at Baden 4 Wing. Ernie loved to tell his Military stories and was very proud of the time he served. When Ernie retired from the Military he returned with his family to Cape Breton, NS. where he became a Master Electrician. Ernie loved the love of his life Mary, his children, grandchildren and great children. He will always be in our hearts.

Cremation has taken place. A private family Graveside will be held at Deseronto Cemetery at a later date. A Celebration of Life will be held at Normandy Retirement Living Kingston in January, date and time to be determined. For those desiring, memorial donations to Vets Canada will be remembered with appreciation by the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Payne Funeral Home in Odessa.
