It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Madeline on Sunday, March 19, 2023, at the age of 91. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Edward Dumbleton (Feb. 1998), and parents Maurice and Bertha Bauder. Dear and loving mother of Mike (Judy) of Inverary, David (Lila) of Lacombe, AB., George (Kathy) of Ponoka, AB., Kathy Richardson (the late Warren) of Odessa and Marianne Morrow of Perth Road. Dear sister of Morris Bauder of Edmonton, Armillda Pitt of Kingston, Eleanor Freeland of Edmonton, and the late Thelma Martin. She will be greatly missed by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews and their families.

 

Cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will be held at Wilton Cemetery on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa, Ontario K0H 2H0 (613-386-7373).

So sorry to hear about "my Maddy". She was the best. She always welcomed me into her home; had coffee and dessert together. I remember her as a very pretty lady. I remember the photos at Aunt Bertha and Uncle Maurice's house on Nelson Street in Kingston. It was a collage of all their children, above the doorway. As we now live in Camrose, I would really like to reconnect with both David and George. Our love and prayers go to the family. Love John Blair (son of Wilma Arvilla Grant).
