Obituary of Florence May Hymers (Rose)

Passed away at the John M. Parrott Centre in Napanee on Thursday, January 23, 2025, in her 97^th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband George Hymers, her son-in-law Allen MacHattie and mother Adeline Rose. Loving mother of Carol Andrews (Gord), Bruce Hymers (Nicole), Marlene MacHattie (Roddy Todd) and Shelley Hymers. Caring grandmother of Tracy, Shawn, Nerissa, Chris, Marshall, Lindsay, Jeremy, Megan, Josh and Jessie. Also missed by her 19 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa on Saturday, February 1st from 6-8 pm. Funeral Service will be held at Emmanuel United Church, 63 Factory St., Odessa on Sunday, February 2nd at 2:30 pm., with visitation one hour prior. A reception will follow. Interment will be held at Wilton Cemetery on Monday, February 3rd at 11:30 am. Memorial donations to Emmanuel United Church or Wilton Cemetery will be remembered with appreciation by the family. Special thanks to all the staff at the John M. Parrott Centre for the wonderful care Florence received.
