Dear Tony, You impacted all of us in so many ways, and now that you are gone, we are so very sorry we let you slip through our fingers. For over 15 years, you walked through the front doors of our academy, with your larger than life personality, and unparalleled skills. You were a force to be reckoned with, on and off the mat. You ALWAYS had our back. You were ALWAYS there when we needed you; whether it was to teach classes, corner fighters, make us laugh (when we needed it most) or bring us sheep shit for our garden. Now, you are a legend. A man for us and future generations of athletes to aspire to. We miss you. We will never forget you. Rest easy dear friend. Until we meet again. Much Love, Janet, Chris & Your Hayabusa Academy family

I met Tony in my first few shifts at Millhaven. He was singing lines from an obscure movie that only a few people would know (myself being one). A kids movie - in the middle of max security. We were instant friends after that. He knew how to keep everyone laughing and had no filter. We all loved him for it and will miss him deeply.

Tony had such a huge presence on the mats. I can picture him coming in with his mouthguard over his cauliflowered ear, laughing and usually telling a funny story. His energy is irreplaceable and will be forever missed.

I met Tony in September 2007 at Loyalist Mixed Martial Arts in Belleville. He was already great and skilled then and a wealth of knowledge. I never worked with him in CSC but I constantly heard what a great officer he was and an assett to all he worked with. You will be truly missed buddy.

We met Tony and his family when they moved across from us in Moscow. We quickly learned he was a great neighbour and friend who would help out and had the biggest bon fires we’ve ever seen. Floyd and him talked about farming and sheep and they stacked hay together. We will miss him very much and know his memory will live on in his beautiful children.
