We were very sorry to hear of Nick's passing. He has been a kind neighbour ever since we moved to Keech Road in 1991--a daily presence driving his tractor past our house, with perfect timing in his nod of greeting. We are grateful for his patience with our construction, and his kind cropping of our lone field every year. Thank you Nick--Godspeed. Shelley King and John Pierce

Our sincere condolences to Elaine, Lori, Heather, and all the Whitty family. You have lost a cherished husband, father, and grandfather, and we have lost a wonderful neighbour and friend. Nick bought his main farm from my Dad in 1972 and, for more than fifty years, has lived across the fields from us. For a brief period in the 1970s, I worked at the Dupont plant in Kingston, where Nick had a long career. Nick, WJ McQuay, and I would often drive to work together and had lots of laughs. As a neighbour, you could always count on Nick. Whether it was providing hay for our daughter's menagerie of animals or pulling Katherine's car out of the ditch on a snowy day, Nick was there for us. He will be greatly missed in this corner of the Moscow community!

Nick was a short distance from me. An excellent neighbor. A dedicated farmer. Such a hard worker. Meeting Elaine was the best thing ever happened to him. He had someone who worked just as hard along side him. He told me that himself. For a number of years he baled hay for me. He would bale for me. And let his wait. Nick was a good friend. And will be greatly missed. Don Lorraine Yeomans
