Obituary of June Todd (Chapman)

Please share a memory of June to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

June passed away peacefully at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Saturday, January 13, 2024. Beloved wife of Bill Todd and loving mother of Jennie Paterson (Mark) and Jewel Denison (Ken Deroche). Cherished grandmother of Kirsten Brunke, Tony Almeida and Crystal Almeida, and extremely proud G.G. of Gabe and Bella. Fondly remembered by Cathy and Brian Johnson, Fred Denison, and family. Those who knew June would attest to her spirited effervescence. Living with passions for music, theatre, art and dancing, she extended her passions with a flair for fashion. With great enthusiasm to wine and dine she set a table with the finest decor, for all of her guests to fully adore. June had a zest for life that could set a fire, which will continue in our hearts and always inspire. May she splash her colour in each sunrise and sunset, with a radiant spirit we will never forget.

The family will receive friends at Payne Funeral Home in Odessa on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 4 – 6 pm. A private family Graveside Service will be held on Thursday at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens.

Please share your memories and condolences to the family.

Guy and I, met June for the first time on Sept 23rd 2023, when she attended our wedding with our good friend! June lit up the room with her smile and beauty! We hit it off and we saw what joy she brought to our friend and him to her. We were so happy she attended and they stayed for reception. Unfortunately I became ill shortly after so we were not able to get together again, but we will treasure the short time we knew her! Go with God, June, you will be missed! We send our sincerest condolences to the family! Guy and Sheila Laurin

I can remember being at a Halloween party at the Legion in Sydenham. I was dressed as FRUIT OF THE LOOM with purple balloons all over me. She popped some balloons for me so that I could sit down.
