Obituary of Helen Aiken (Babcock)

Helen passed away peacefully at the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital in Napanee on Friday, February 9, 2024 at the age of 94. Predeceased by her beloved husband William Aiken, her sister Jean Munroe and nephew Wayne Munroe. Dear and loving mother of Carol (John Dunscombe) of Yarker. Cherished grandmother of Brent Stephens (Stephanie) and Todd Stephens, and great grandmother of Claire and Andrew. Fondly remembered by her great niece Kathy Frenette and by many other nieces and nephews and their families.

 

Funeral Service will be held at Payne Funeral Home in Odessa on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 11 am. Interment Riverside Cemetery in Yarker. For those desiring, memorial donations to the Salvation Army Kingston Citadel would be appreciated.

Mrs. Aiken took in this classmate of Carol's to stay overnight. She set a beautiful dinner and made me very welcome. She was always very sweet to everybody.
