Obituary of Margaret Henshaw (Bannister)

Please share a memory of Margaret to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Margaret passed away peacefully following a brief illness at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Sunday, January 14, 2024, in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Henshaw and loving mother of Ruth Henshaw and Charlie Henshaw (Melissa). Proud grandmother of Jordon (Ashley), Keegan, Noah, Olivia and Willow. Dear sister of Frank Bannister (Penny) and the late Kathleen Bannister.

Margaret was a long time member of the Rebekah’s. She was also a prolific quilter and member of the Limestone Quilters Guild and Kingston Heirloom Quilters, as well as the Cataraqui Guild of Needle Arts. She will be missed by many.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Odessa Fairgrounds Palace on Saturday, April 27th from 12 – 3 pm. For those desiring, memorial donations to the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (UHKF ICU) would be appreciated by the family, in recognition of their outstanding care and compassion.

Please share your memories and condolences to the family.
