Obituary of Jessie Sharma (van der Zande)
It is with broken hearts that the family of Jesina Jacoba Johanna Sharma announce her passing at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre following a brief illness on Monday, July 8th, 2024, at the age of 72. Predeceased by her beloved parents Bernardus ‘Ben’ and Henrica van der Zande and brother Tony. Proud and loving mother of Sonya (Joe) and dear sister of Bill (Kevin), Wayne (Grace), Dennis (Jane), Ellen (the late Wayne), Bernie (Julie), Henry, Robin (Mike), Frances (Lenny) and René. Jessie will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews and by many extended family members in Canada and Holland.
Jessie was well liked by many people and could make friends where ever she went. Many called her mom even though they were not her own. She had a great sense of humor, always making others laugh. Her dogs were also an important part of her life. Jessie you will be greatly missed. A gathering for family and friends will be held at a later date with Interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Odessa. Arrangements entrusted to Payne Funeral Home in Odessa.
